Here is the Choice...
to believe or not to believe

God is a spirit
By Javier Sanchez
Sometimes we hear things that sound so good, so smart we want to share them. these days sharing has taken on a whole new meaning, so these "words to live by" get read by friends all over the world. they get read and read over and over.....for about 2 minutes. Then some new "words of wisdom" gets posted and "original words to live by" get pushed down like another friend's picture of them with a plate of tacos in front of him.

It's a Choice
Javier Sanchez, Editor/Founder
To believe in God is a choice. To believe that the universe exploded into existance is a choice.
Our days on this earth are filled with chioces. big ones, little ones. From going to work in the morning to who we marry, it's choices that govern what we do, where we go and how we live.

Welcome to my Spirit page! Yes, I named it "Spirit Page" not "Religion Page" because I don't care much for religion. Religious reminds me of when I was a kid and my mom used to take me to church, this was the perfect epitome of religious. People sat in pews worrying about who was saying what about them. They were much more concerned what others thought about them more than what God thought. The way they acted had everything to do with how they wanted others to see them.
In my opinion, religion has more to do with man than God. I do anchor my belief in the Bible, which I consider to be God's word.  The Bible says true religion is caring for the orphans and widows, or in other words being merciful to those in need. So if that's what someone is talking about when they say religious, I'm all in!
Some would say believing in the Bible is believing in religion, and maybe they're right to some extent. I do call myself a Christian and follower of Christ and not a Buddist or another form of religion.
It may seem hypocritical but I don't consider believing in the Creator of all things to be religious or to be choosing a religion. I consider acknowledging and believing in the Creator our simple duty and simple understanding as a human who can reason.
The Bible is the only recording of our Creator, therefore, I believe the things that are written, even the ones I don't particularly like. I absolutely believe and accept The Lord Jesus Christ as the Son of God, and that there is no other name under heaven that a person may be reconciled to God the Creator.
